Julie’s research into documenting parkour has led to various filmic styles depending on the context of the work. From highly choreographed montage to quiet observational documentaries, Julie’s vision has a concern for freedom, form, function and representation, always working collaboratively with the athletes and artists to create credible and informative work.
A blend of visual anthropology and art creates the ideal platform for factual based observational documentaries and highly stylised pieces. The participant’s voice is always heard.
